We know that while preparing for the big day, most brides have many questions about how the day is going to go. Do not worry, leave that to the experts! Our commitment to our brides is that we are there every step of the way. Your hair is not something you should have to stress about so here are the answers to our most commonly asked questions below.

The first look, or time you are leaving, is NOT your finish time for hair. Your photographer will need shots of you getting ready, getting into your dress, etc. To sum this up, your finish time will be long before the time you leave to walk down the aisle…

We tend to style you towards the end, but not last. We want to ensure you have more than enough time for both hair and makeup without feeling rushed.

We do not do time slots per girl. Some services take longer than others and sometimes there is someone in the makeup chair who is not ready for hair. We will provide a time slot (amount of hours) based on how the total amount of time it will take to do your entire party.

We stress that everyone arrives promptly at the start time provided. Everything will run much more smoothly this way. Our top priority is to make sure you, along with your party, feel absolutely comfortable and beautiful every step of the way!

Is it okay if I don't know how many services I have yet?

Not a problem! We recommend inquiring for the max number of services, so we can schedule stylists accordingly. You have 6 months up until your date to send us the final headcount. Once the 6 month mark has passed, anyone is welcome to be replaced, but must be paid for.

How much is your travel fee?

Travel fees are determined by Happily Ever After Hair for round trip from the location of Cherry Hill NJ per stylist OR additional fees will apply for additional stylists.

Do you bring additional stylists with you?

Happily Ever After Hair will add an additional stylist for parties 8 or more. A third stylist is added for 13 or more. Adding additional stylists could verify due to the wedding day timeline.

How long do you allow for each service?

Each style is different and can take a different amount of time. But to give you an idea the Bride will take an hour or so and the bridal party around 45 minutes. Please note, we do not schedule a time slot per girl. In the final timeline, we give the bride a timeframe of hours to complete the services, and we ask everyone to be there at the start time.

Can I add services after the final headcount is due?

Absolutely! As long as our team can accommodate it!

When will I know what time you will be arriving?

Over the many years of being in the bridal industry, we have found that building our brides timelines is best done closer to their wedding date, or more specifically, at the time of the trial! Despite what you may think, planning too early could result in having to start over and will only cause confusion among your vendors and your party!

Do you have a minimum requirement for booking?

Yes, our minimum requirement to take on an event is $1400  (around 7 services) .

We will come out for less as long as you can meet the minimum.

What is the maximum amount of services you can accommodate?

Our team can accommodate up to 20 services.

Our team can accommodate up to 20 services.

Can I book my trial before securing my date?

Unfortunately, no dates are held without a signed contract and retainer, due to high demand.

Where will my trial take place and how long is the appointment?

Depending on your scheduled stylist, trials are held in the Cherry Hill/Haddon Township NJ area. You will get more information on scheduling your trial once your date is secured. Your trial appointment is 2 hours long. Please make sure you arrive on time, as this could cut into your time for styling.

Can I bring someone with me to the trial?

Yes, you are welcome to bring someone to your trial, but we limit it to one guest only, as we have limited room in the studio/salon.

What brand of extensions do you recommend?

We love working with Luxy Hair or Bellami Hair. All can be purchased online and they will help color match your shade on their website. For all down or half up half down styles, we highly recommend purchasing extensions. A $25 placement and setting fee will apply for each time they are placed.

How should I prep my hair for the trial?

We ask that you come with clean/dry hair with no product.
